It’s that time of year again. With homecoming season just around the corner, North Central’s 2014 festivities will be held from Thursday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 19.

This year, the College is celebrating the reunions of those who graduated in the years ending in 4 and 9. However, all students and staff are invited to the Homecoming Reunion Celebration that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 in the Residence Hall/Recreation Center at 6 p.m.

Adrian Aldrich, executive director of development and alumni affairs, says he sees this event as an opportunity for everyone to celebrate the College. “It’s an opportunity for students and alumni to come together,” Aldrich stated. “Students have the opportunity to see our amazing alumni, and vice versa.”

If there is one thing to be on the lookout for, Aldrich says, it is the presentation of the Outstanding Alumni Award, which will now take place at the dinner on Saturday night, unlike in previous years. Attendees will get to see five outstanding alumni being awarded, including Maj. Gen. William Gossell from the class of 1954.

Other highlights of the Homecoming Reunion are the live cover band that will play, and the catering from Chef By Request.

More information about registration will be distributed soon and for a complete list of the weekend’s homecoming events, go to https://northcentralcollege.edu/alumni/homecoming-weekend-schedule.
