Between your busy schedule and assigned class readings, it might be difficult for you to even picture yourself reading a book anytime soon. However, Little Free Libraries could change your perspective on what it means to read for fun.

Little Free Libraries is reinventing our traditional sense of what it means to have a community library. Located throughout Naperville (and cities all over the country), are small, but eye catching “mailboxes” that are home to a wide variety of books. The “take a book and bring a book” honor system that runs Little Free Libraries promotes both reading and a sense of community. From science fiction books to self-help books, there truly is something for everyone to read. Not to mention, this is a great way to get to know your neighbors better.

Next time you have some free time, consider visiting one of the three Little Free Library locations here in Naperville. Whether it be to donate one of your all-time favorite books, or to pick up someone else’s,   you never know what great books you might find! For more information, visit the Little Free Library website.
