For all college students in America, it’s easier to make a New Year’s resolution for yourself than it is to actually keep one.

No one wants to have to get out of bed and exercise to lose those five or ten pounds you promised you would. But through technology and many of Hollywood’s “do good” celebrities, there’s a way to be able to accomplish numerous New Year’s resolutions and maintain good self-reflection through yourself and the eyes of your social environment.

We365 is 2015’s latest social networking application that lets you complete positive goals and actions every day. Commercialized by “do good” actors like Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, this app can be used by anyone who has a goal to do something helpful and life changing for themselves and others in the next 365 days.

When first opening the app, a newsfeed appears that lists many different actions you can take, depending on the category the action follows. For instance, a goal may appear in the category of “animals” and the goal is to simply e-sign a petition to save the beluga whales. Another would be posting a picture of your best friend and writing a compliment about him or her would be in the “happiness” category.

What you first may think is, “How can an app help me change the world when I’m not actually out there putting physical effort into it?” Each goal that is listed in the app’s newsfeed donates to a real-life cause based on the purpose of that specific goal.

From something extreme like shaving your head to fund cancer research, or something more simple like eating a hot pepper to raise awareness for global warming, every action that students take can make a difference and give inspiration to others. The way that these goals have been designed so that viewers can access and complete them at a touch of a button is an opportunity waiting to happen for college students.

As college students, it’s difficult to accomplish a goal besides the typical clichés, “make the Dean’s List,” “work out more” and “get a job before I graduate.” But with this app, you don’t have to pick just one goal. There are many that are posted on We365 every day that you can accomplish in five minutes. Even though it seems like you’re not doing much by simply tapping a few buttons, the interest and generosity creates more awareness to major societal problems.

We365 is an app that benefits the world of social network in order to reach out to those people, animals and natural factors that face unfortunate troubles of acceptance in society or existence in general. It’s a good way to reel in many New Year’s resolutions and keep a good head on your shoulders while being able to encourage others to do good every day for throughout 2015.

You can download We365 on the App Store for all smart phones.
