It seems that the NFL has been cursed with a series of crimes throughout various teams and players, including Aaron Hernandez and Ray Rice. What should be recognized is that these players have many fans that respect them and the team as a whole. When a crime such as domestic violence, stalking or murder is committed, there is something to be said about what it means to be a professional athlete. It doesn’t take even the best lawyer to get out of a situation in which the entire nation will hear about. Even though NFL players have an insanely rich contract to play their sport, it does not pass as a “get out of jail free” card when they’re arrested.

5. A skull was discovered in a Spanish cave in northern Spain, in which evidence shows that it could be the oldest murder victim ever discovered. Scientists have confirmed that the incident could have taken place more than 430,000 years ago. (Los Angeles Times)

It’s a wonder if the crime committed was cannibalism or something else entirely. It’s interesting to see how the causes of murder have changed throughout the centuries. We started out with cannibalism and now onto tampered medicines.
