Cardinals look to keep win streak going in homecoming game


The NCC Cardinals football team takes the field this weekend against the winless Carroll University Pioneers at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium for homecoming.

The Cardinals are looking to keep their undefeated season going in order to maintain their position on the top of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).

footballDetermined to earn their 2016 playoff bid after just missing out last season, the Cardinals will be ready to keep their win streak going. Although the Pioneers are 0-7, they have had multiple games that were within reach against other CCIW opponents such as Elmhurst and Millikin.

The Cardinals have been averaging 37.3 points per game, and fans can expect their team to put on a show with their homecoming motivation and excitement.

The game kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on North Central College’s campus in Naperville, Ill.
