The Cardinals qualified six student-athletes for this wekends NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Indoor National Tournament. Juniors Brooke Paterson and Elizabeth Composto represent NCC for the second straight season in the pole-vaulting competition.
Patterson qualified last season for the first time while Composto is a returning two-time Indoor All-American. Junior shot-putter Ebony Stallworth is looking to earn All-American honors for the second straight season after placing fourth in the 2012 Indoor Track & Field shot-put competition while senior Jocelyn Redlinski is looking to finish as an All-American in the pentathlon event after just missing out at last year’s Indoor National tournament.
First-year qualifiers for the Cards include senior Nora Ferguson in the mile race and sophomore Madison Renfro in the 60-meter hurdles. The two-day NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships get started on Friday morning and continue into Saturday evening inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb.
