Candlelight vigil lights up campus

Photographer Deidre Ewers captured several images from the Candlelight Vigil for Peace held in front of Old Main on Nov. 20. Chaplain Eric Doolittle said of the event: “In response to a week of violence around our world – including the attacks in Paris, Beirut, Baghdad, and Yola, Nigeria – we will gather this Friday evening to be a united point of light in the world. Everyone in our NCC community is welcome as we pause, as we reflect, and as we pray in a Candlelight Vigil for Peace. Join us to spread light and truth into a world struggling with darkness and confusion.”
