Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, will be coming to North Central College on Jan. 31.
Invited by the College Republicans organization, Forbes will be holding a keynote speech about capitalism. Forbes ran in the presidential elections of 1996 and 2000 as a Republican nominee. He also writes editorials for each issue of Forbes under the title “Fact and Comment.”
His novel, “Reviving America: How Repealing Obamacare, Replacing the Tax Code and Reforming the Fed Will Restore Hope and Prosperity,” co-authored by Elizabeth Ames, was released in December 2016.
The event is free for students and the public, but a ticket is required. Tickets can be picked up at the box office in Wentz. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 at Wentz Concert Hall.
