When NCClinked.com first caught up with the people at @Munchies, customers had complaints about the size of the building and the limited seating. Listening to the customers, the three co-owners decided to close for a few months for renovations. They removed a wall and expanded backward, making more room for seating. One of two additions to their store is an ice cream machine. The new machine makes ice cream that is softer and easier to eat.

Before the remodel, teas and shakes were handspun. Now, there is a machine that spins the teas, making them creamier.
A new addition to the menu is fruit tea. There are some food items on the menu including a new item consisting of a fried chicken breast stuffed with cheese. The flavor options for bubble teas have also expanded.

Right now business for @Munchies is slow, but with more space and an expanded menu, the summer months are expected to be busy for Naperville’s newest rolled ice cream shop.
