In collaboration with Anderson’s Bookshop, Leslie Odom Jr. is coming to North Central’s campus on March 31 at 7 p.m to promote his book “Failing Up.” The event will take place at Pfeiffer Hall.

Many may know Odom as playing Aaron Burr in the Broadway sensation “Hamilton.” As of late, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning artist has been promoting his new book, “Failing Up.” The book covers the failures he’s endured to earn his success.
He explains in an interview with CBS News that “there’s a whole lot of focus on the tremendous success that me and my cast mates have had because of the embrace of the show. But the truth is, there’s a whole lot of roots under that tree. There’s a whole lot of hard work and failure along the way.”
The event will include a conversation with Odom about his new book, a special guest and a short performance with a live band at the end of the event.
