You may know her from “This is Us” as Kate. Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated Chrissy Metz is coming to Pfeiffer Hall at 7 p.m. on April 5, signing and discussing her memoir, “This is Me,” which was published on March 27.
The book is a collection of personal essays, autobiographical anecdotes and instructional applications that encompass not only the setbacks Metz faced in her career, but also the successes that came along with them.
Lincee Ray, from the Washington Post, said the book is an encouraging example of how to “embrace the unique qualities (we all) have to offer.”
The visit will include a presentation led by Chrissy Metz, along with conversation about life and love through the lens of “This is Me.” Audience members will also receive a copy of the book.
Tickets can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets.
