On a cold weekend, Madeleine O’Connell and her mom, Liz Eischeid, took a trip to Lake Geneva to see the Ice Castles: a wall of ice surrounding the visitors inside lit up with bright colors. The exhibit featured colorful water displays, an icy slide, a chair made of ice that was fit for royalty, and icicles that could’ve dropped at any moment.
