My family adopted our dog back in 2012 at a Chicago Wolves game. It is always a great story to tell because not everyone can say that they adopted their dog at a hockey game.
The Chicago Wolves Adopt-a-Dog night is usually held every month on a specific Saturday home game. The Chicago Wolves have seen at least 1,511 dogs be adopted at the All-State Arena. Wolves’ chairman Don Levin continues to put in time and money to help shelters in the Chicagoland area get dogs to the arena and the chance of getting a new home.
However, due to COVID-19, the Chicago Wolves haven’t allowed in-person attendance at home games. Despite this, they are continuing their efforts of getting dogs adopted by using their website and fanbase as another place for people to look for pets.
