In August, NCC’s newest President, Dr. Anita Thomas, sat with the Chronicle to speak on issues relevant to students.
In the interview, she discussed how she plans on doing more for campus life. This relates to both students and her leadership style. In addition, she touched on how her background has shaped her perspective as an educator and her personal values. As NCC’s first Black female president, Thomas shatters a glass ceiling. She has taken on the role of building a bridge between the administration and the student body. She also, notably, spoke on her identity and how it intersects with her career path.
