Oesterle Library providing extensive resources during COVID-19

0

Oesterle Library is still operating seven days a week with access to librarians via chat and email, along with expanded resources while the building is closed.

Oesterle is still providing students the opportunity to find electronic articles and e-books that could be used for online courses. Thanks to some generous vendors who have provided additional access to resources, now the catalog has expanded an extensive amount.

Oesterle is currently providing thousands of available e-books and millions of articles for students to use.

Students will still be able to use interlibrary loan services as another resource to find articles and electronic book chapters. Interlibrary loan is a service where Oesterle Library will allow access to the full-text electronic copy of an article that students may need. This service is free for all students. Once received, a librarian will contact the student through their NCC email letting then know when their access is available.

It should be noted during this time that no one will be fined for keeping materials past their due dates. This includes any students who may currently have physical books or materials they received from I-share before closure. Oesterle is asking for students to keep these materials until they are open again.

For anyone who has any questions, Oesterle is providing help through email and chat during a wide range or hours. During the designated hours, a librarian will be available to answer any questions.

In order to ask a question, students should send an email to Library@noctrl.edu. Students may also chat with a librarian at https://noctrl.libguides.com/contact. Whether it is a question about research or general pieces of information, Oesterle is ready to provide all the help they can during these challenging times.
