Naperville attracts many visitors from various neighboring areas specifically because of the
luxurious culture established in their downtown area. The city is only the 4th largest in Illinois.
According to USA Today, Naperville is one of the most recommended cities to visit behind Chicago.

Most well known for family friendly atmosphere and exciting nightlife, the downtown area is a suburban destination for many families. In fact, Naperville was recently ranked no. 6 as the Best City to Live in America.

Likeability of downtown

With various places to visit ranging from dining, everyday shopping exploration and enjoyment there is something for all visitors to enjoy. To name a few signature eateries like Cookie Dough Creations or Empire Burgers and Brews this suburb is home to popular establishments. However, despite its popularity, people may find Naperville to be increasingly tough to enjoy consistently. This is because of the lack of affordability, diversity and space in the downtown area.

Diverse restaurants and shops

One of the big problems is diversity in the variety of stores and restaurants. Downtown Naperville has come a long way with their variety of restaurants but it is still not all the way there yet. For example, there are a variety of different restaurants but the restaurants they have to offer aren’t for everyone. These restaurants sometimes have a higher price tag, tags that college students cannot afford. This means people that they don’t have a very large income to be able to spend a lot of time and money in Downtown Naperville. Sullivan’s Steak House, Blue Sushi, Rosebud, Francesca’s, Hugo Frogs, etc., are all great examples of high end restaurants. There are really only two options for food Downtown Naperville: high end restaurants or fast food. Although Downtown Naperville has its shortcomings, this town continues to be popular in the Midwest.
