The targeted student of a recent racist incident speaks out in a sit-down interview. Angel Tovar, ’23, found a racist note someone slid under the door of her dorm room on Monday night. The message read, “F*** you N*****”. The hateful event led to an immediate response from the college. According to a email by interim President Donna Carroll, the college is actively investigating the racist incident and acknowledges that the damage cannot be undone.

As a North Central Alum, this gravely disappoints me. I hope they install security cameras and expel the students who think this is acceptable behavior. Time for everyone to step up and take action. Unacceptable.
