On January 29, NCC’s Chinese Club took students to Chicago’s Chinatown neighborhood to observe Chinese New Year traditions. By attending the trip, participants had the opportunity to see how Chinese New Year is celebrated, followed by a week of festivities.
As the group walked through the neighborhood, they had an opportunity to see a Chinese New Year parade. The parade showcased a number of singers and dancers performing traditional Chinese songs and dances.
