If you’re looking for a scare, or to possibly be haunted for the rest of your life, there are some options for you here at NCC and in Naperville.

pfeifferThe most well-known haunted place on campus is Pfeiffer Hall, and some students have reported having had creepy experiences in the building’s basement.

“Freshman year, some friends and I went to the basement,” says Chris Carracher. “The walls were covered in red hand prints. Spooky stuff.”

Rumors circulate about the Seybert and Rall residence halls being haunted as well.

“It would be fun to go ghost hunting (in those buildings) on Halloween,” says Karina Reitz.

On the corner of North and Columbia streets, not too far away from North Central College, is a cemetery that is reported to be haunted. “I went there for my photography class once because people said it was haunted,” says student Amber Skulavik.

For those more interested in the lighter side of Halloween, NCC students didn’t disappoint. From carved pumpkins to costumes, the holiday was in full swing this year.
