The North Central College Cardinals finished the season this year with a record of 26-16, and a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) record of 16-5.  This tallies up as the seventh highest number of wins of any season in Cardinal Baseball history and the 11th regular-season CCIW title in North Central history.

The season ended in the CCIW tournament with a 6-4 loss against the Illinois Wesleyan Titans (16-5).  The Titans scoring began their scoring with a sacrifice fly to center field in the bottom of the first inning to give Wesleyan a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.

In the top of the second inning, Joe Paparone led off the inning with a line drive down the left field line, followed by Bobby Smith getting hit by a pitch granting him first base to put runners on first and second.  Jake Rone would then proceed to use his speed to beat out a ground ball to load up the bases for Sing Fong.  Keeping the bats going, Fong hit a line drive up the middle beating the second baseman and short stop to give the Cardinals a 2-1 lead to take into the bottom of the second inning.

In the bottom of the third inning the Titans battled back as they scored three straight runs off of four singles to take back a 4-2 lead.

The Titans would add two more runs in the fourth and fifth innings to increase their lead to 6-2.  In the top of the sixth, Sam Klein led off the inning with a single up the middle, and Chris Hill brought him in with an RBI single.  After an error made by the Titans right fielder, Hill would also score to cut the lead to 6-4.

There would be no scoring for the remainder of the game for the final and 16th loss of the Cardinals 2015 campaign.
