The September 11 Memorial Museum courtyard in New York City was the site of one of the many vigils held across the nation to commemorate the lives lost in the mass shooting in Orlando, Fla. Chronicle former staffer MacKenzie Putnal visited the museum and courtyard during a post-graduation trip.
