Do you ever wish that your favorite TV show would return after the final season? Wel, guess what? It’s happening. This year has been a big year for spin-offs and reboots. TV shows such as: “That’s So Raven,” “Full House” and “The Big Bang Theory” have all come back this year in new ways.

Unlike the other two, “The Big Bang Theory” is still releasing new episodes, and fans are eager for the release of its spin-off: “Young Sheldon.”

Some of the shows are lucky enough to have members of the original cast back on the updated shows. “Fuller House” has almost the entire main cast back in some of the episodes. This is a treat for the viewers who have been watching since the beginning. It brings back some nostalgia for viewers.

“Raven’s Home,” a spin-off of “That’s So Raven,” was rumored for months until it finally aired this past July. The story for this show is based around Raven, her best friend Chelsea and their families. The two single moms are living together with their kids under one, chaotic roof, as described by IMDb. In the first episode, it was revealed that one of Raven’s kids also shares his mom’s gift of being psychic. What’s in store for him and his visions? You will have to watch to find out!

Between the years of 1987 and 1995, “Full House” was aired and worked its way up the rankings, eventually reaching No. 7 on the Nielsen ratings. It was a popular show for millions of families. So much so that since then, the show has continued to run re-runs until finally, “Fuller House” emerged. The storyline is similar to the original show, except it is no longer Danny Tanner living with his three daughters, his brother-in-law and his best friend. It is now an adult DJ Fuller living with her three sons, her sister, her best friend and her daughter, according to IMDb.

As stated on the CBS website, “Young Sheldon” is based around one of the main characters in “The Big Bang Theory:” Sheldon Cooper. In this spin-off, Sheldon is a boy who was gifted with great knowledge on the subjects of math and science. It is hard to be an extra smart 9-year-old boy in a normal family and be wiser than kids much older than him. This show gives viewers of “The Big Bang Theory” the opportunity to see the child version of the quirky Sheldon Cooper.

“Raven’s Home” aired its first season in July on Disney Channel, and the show continues to release new episodes on Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. “Fuller House” started its first season in February of 2016 and released their third season on September 22 on Netflix. The first season of “Young Sheldon” will be released on September 25 at 7:30 p.m. on CBS.
