North Central’s great location affords its students, staff and faculty easy access to the Metra BNSF Line, with Naperville’s station just a couple blocks from the northern end of campus. While these tracks connect Naperville with neighboring suburbs, more importantly, they provide an effortless route into Chicago. The BNSF line holds the honor as Metra’s busiest line, serving 16 million customers annually, about 5 million more than the next closest line.

Come on board the 5:05 express to Chicago and witness some of the tranquil scenery on the way to Chicago, before getting a glimpse of Union Station’s famed Grand Hall. Then do it all over again, by preparing to board another train, while experiencing the sounds that fill the station.
