Having a hard time surviving the week? Say no more. North Central College’s Union Activities Board is hosting their annual Springfest this weekend with a ‘survivor’ theme. Along with students, Naperville locals can come and enjoy a variety of themed games, inflatables and prizes. There will also be a photo booth, DJ and many giveaways offered to those attending the yearly event.

Historically, Springfest has been a fun-filled event that Napervillians can come to enjoy headlining bands and take a break away from their busy schedules. This year, North Central welcomes the headlining band Hellogoodbye. The group is originally from Huntington Beach, Calif., and they are well known for their pop-rock influenced tunes. The band will be kicking off Springfest with their concert on Friday night at 8 p.m. in Pfeiffer Hall. Tickets to see the band cost $10 for students and $25 for non-students.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Springfest will continue on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. where attendees will be invited to Jefferson Commons for games, music and prizes. In previous years, Springfest has been known for some of their amazing giveaways, such as iPad Minis, portable wireless speakers, Keurigs, 24-inch TVs and more.
