Dyson hosts Walk a Mile in support of survivors

On April 27, Dyson Wellness Center (DWC) hosted their Walk a Mile program. It gave students the opportunity to walk in support of sexual assault awareness on campus. The Walk a Mile program included a walk from Old Main to Championship Plaza. Students were able to collect beads to signify the different reasons why they walked. When asked why events like this are important to have on campus this is what they said:

Throughout the month of April, students have taken the opportunity to participate in events such as this. It is one of many steps that NCC has taken in order to address the growing concern students have about sexual assault on campus.
