NCC’s Japan Club held a Japanese New Year celebration on Jan. 19. Nearly twenty attendees spent the evening enjoying traditional Japanese food such as sushi and mochi, a traditional dish centered around ice cream and rice. While celebrating the Japanese New Year, the club also hosted a number of guest speakers to talk to attendees about the traditions that Japanese people hold close.
